This is the big problem I have with public money going to private schools. I don’t give two shits if you want to teach your budding young mouth breather that the earth was formed 500 years ago on the weekend by your imaginary friend. I pay for that fucking teachers salary with MY tax money. You don’t get to discriminate against people with my money.

The absurdity is in the employment contract:

Steven Goodin, the attorney for the archdiocese and the schools, contended Dias was fired for violating her contract, which he said required her to comply with the philosophies and teachings of the Catholic church.

In theory, then, she could be fired for eating meat on a Friday in Lent.

Dias’ attorney, Robert Klingler, argued she was fired simply because she was pregnant and unmarried, a dismissal he said violated state and federal law.

I would be upset if there was anyone left who didn’t already know that “pro-life” is an Orwellian label.
